As summer winds down, we’re busy preparing two exciting events to close out the season: the 21st Annual Dipsea Hike for Zero Breast Cancer and our 2nd Pathways webinar!
There’s still time to register for and donate to the 2023 Dipsea Hike. Registration closes Sunday, September 10 for the hike taking place on Saturday, September 16, so please take a moment to register now. We’re also still looking for volunteers. If you’d like to help out, please complete our Volunteer Sign-Up Form. We are especially looking for trail monitors who will be stationary on the trail pointing people in the right direction!
Then, the following week on Thursday, September 21, we have our next free webinar. Join us from 11:30 am to 1 pm PT to hear about Pathways Breast Cancer Survivorship research showing where and how we live affects quality and length of life after a breast cancer diagnosis, with at least 30 minutes to answer your questions. Learn more and register!
There’s also still time to complete the ACE survey and elect to have the organizers make a $20 donation to Zero Breast Cancer on your behalf. If you have a diagnosis or history of cancer, please take 15 minutes to complete the survey and help researchers better understand your quality of life.
Lastly, with fall and Breast Cancer Awareness month just around the corner, don’t miss the chance to share Zero Breast Cancer Printed Materials with your community. While we offer our English and Spanish printed resources for free year-round, October’s special focus on breast cancer awareness makes now the perfect time to order. By doing so, you’ll be ready to share when breast cancer is on everyone’s mind. We have breast cancer risk reduction materials for youth and people of all ages, as well as Survivorship Factsheets on memory problems, nerve pain, and heart health. Fill out the Materials Request Form for you to learn about what we offer and indicate what you would like. Once you complete it, we’ll be in touch.
Read on to learn about our latest blogs and partnerships with Cavallo Point and the Jasper App. I hope to see you in Old Mill Park or on the Dipsea Trail in a few weeks!
