What a busy year! In 2021, we released two new collections of educational materials that we’ve been working on over the past few years, launched our Advancing Health Equity in Breast Cancer webinar series, and expanded on our well-established health promotion campaigns. We are so grateful to you for making the successes of our 25th year possible! Read on for some highlights, and please consider donating to support our ongoing work and join us in envisioning a world with zero breast cancer.
Survivorship Resources
In collaboration with breast cancer survivors and research partners on the Pathways Breast Cancer Survivorship Study, we created a series of materials on topics prioritized by multi-lingual and lower-income survivors, including Black, Asian-American and Latina women. Our initial four articles address Memory & Thinking Problems, Cancer-Related Nerve Pain, Self-Care During Covid-19, and Heart Health After Cancer.
- Created 4 original articles and sent each to more than 3,500 survivors
- Adapted 3 articles into English & Spanish blog posts, which had over 15,800 views
- Adapted 2 articles into engaging English & Spanish Factsheets
- Disseminated more than 600 hard copies of the English Memory Factsheet

Together, we created six educational posters about ways to reduce exposure to these chemicals and we launched the Generations campaign webpages in October 2021.

- Of those surveyed not already doing a recommended action, an average of 82% would take action based on the poster
