Dear Reader,
It’s time to celebrate Spring’s warmer weather and the fact that more than half of US adults have received at least one Covid-19 vaccine! While there is a light at the end of the tunnel, we need to continue to keep ourselves and others safe.
In this e-newsletter, we highlight projects developed with college students and study participants to improve health and wellness and reduce the risk of breast cancer, especially in marginalized communities.
Read on to learn about ZBC on Spanish-language TV, student-created YouTube videos, research on hormones in beef, and top podcasts for breast cancer survivors.
And don’t forget to give feedback on our latest campaign and register for our next free webinar. In the 2nd of our Advancing Health Equity in Breast Cancer webinar series, Our ZIP Codes & Breast Cancer: Working Together for Healthier Places, you will learn more about how place matters and what we can do for everyone’s health. We hope you can join us! Yours in health, Kevin

Give Your Opinion to Help Prevent Breast Cancer We’ve got 6 "posters" and everyone is invited to give their opinion by filling out our surveys. These "posters" may be used in other formats, like as graphics for social media or printed postcards. We are especially seeking the input of young adults (ages 18-35, all genders), BIPOC, and people with lower income. Visit zbclink.org/posterfeedback to let us know what you think.
*The first 10 people to give feedback on all 6 posters and include their email addresses will receive a $25 gift card! After that, there will be a drawing for another $25 gift card among people who have given their opinion on all 6 posters before May 31.
