We are thrilled to announce a powerful new chapter for an iconic Marin tradition. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Zero Breast Cancer (ZBC) and Breast Cancer Prevention Parthers (BCPP) will join forces for the annual Dipsea Hike for Prevention in Mill Valley, CA — a day of community, action, and hope on the legendary Dipsea Trail.

For the first time, ZBC and BCPP are coming together in partnership around a shared vision: a future with fewer breast cancer diagnoses and recurrences. Together, our organizations work to reduce breast cancer risk at both the individual and systemic levels — advancing healthier environments, empowering informed choices, and creating a future where prevention is accessible to all.

Meaningful change happens when we work together.

1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, yet 90% of cases are not linked to family history. By hiking and fundraising together, we’re supporting science-based solutions that help stop breast cancer before it starts.

Your day includes:

  • A scenic group hike through the redwoods
  • Fundraising opportunities and sponsor prizes
  • A post-hike celebration with light bites and interactive exhibits
  • Practical ways to reduce harmful environmental exposures and lifestyle risk factors
  • Bring your friends and family, start or join a team, and help create a healthier future for all.
