Fall 2021 Newsletter

We envision a world with Zero Breast Cancer.
Donate Now!

Dear Reader,

We are so grateful to everyone who showed up for Zero Breast Cancer as part of the Dipsea Hike, whether coming in person, participating virtually, volunteering, donating or sponsoring. Fundraising continues through October, so there’s still time to help us reach our goal!

October is always a busy month at Zero Breast Cancer, and we’re sure you know why! While we focus on breast cancer all year round, Breast Cancer Awareness Month draws special attention to our cause. We’ve had a lot of opportunities to spread our breast cancer and recurrence prevention messages in multiple communities this year, including at high schools, a webcast at Both Sides of the Conversation for Black and Brown community members, and the Cuerpo Corazón Comunidad Spanish-language radio and webcast. Learn more about what we’ve got going on this month below.

Also, you can still register for the fourth in our free Health Equity in Breast Cancer webinar series, taking place next Thursday, October 21 at noon PT. Our Environment and Breast Cancer: Working for a Healthier Future will feature two of our partners who make a difference: Nsedu Obot Witherspoon from Children’s Environmental Health Network and Deysi Flores from Make the Road New York. You don’t want to miss it!

Thank you again for all your support.

Kevin Gay

Yours in health,

Kevin
