Zero Breast Cancer invites 2013 Honor Thy Healer award nominations
(San Rafael, Calif) --- Zero Breast Cancer, a community non-profit organization based in Marin County, invites nominations from the public for the Healing Professional and Healing Partner awards to be presented at the Honor Thy Healer dinner and awards program on Thursday, May 9th 2013, at the Mill Valley Community Center. Attendees will include breast cancer survivors and supporters, public officials, business and professional leaders, honorees and associates, community members and friends of Zero Breast Cancer.

Nominations will be accepted through January 31, 2013. Please limit your narrative to 250 words or less.
The awards will be presented during an inspiring evening featuring videos and personal stories from the honorees that describe their special connection to breast cancer treatment, healing support, prevention efforts, research and environmental and community activism. Fundraising will include a grand raffle travel prize. The evening's Honorary Chair will be announced in January 2013.
Honor Thy Healer is a benefit for Zero Breast Cancer's research and education programs. ZBC is a Bay Area non-profit organization dedicated to finding the causes and prevention of breast cancer through community participation in the scientific research process. We focus on identifying environmental factors and the role they play in breast cancer at all stages of life and across generations.
